Many people have a common vision condition called myopia where the point of focus is in front of the retina, making distant objects appear blurry.
\nWe know it better by the term \u201cnearsightedness.\u201d Those of us afflicted with this condition (myopia) know that we can see objects near to us clearly, but objects farther away are indistinct and unclear.<\/p>\n
In today\u2019s world we are all prone to see our circumstances with myopic vision. In other words, all we see are our up close, current circumstances and the adversity that accompanies our day to day lives.<\/p>\n
What do we need to have joy in the midst of our difficulties? We need corrective lenses. And that corrective lens is God\u2019s Word. The Apostle Paul provides us with God\u2019s corrective lens so we can see clearly that joy in the midst of our circumstances is possible.
