YouTube<\/a>, or on your phone call (509) 394-5589).\u00a0 It is available each week starting on Friday, and one can go back in archives to listen and watch past sermons!\u00a0 What is nice, is if you take notes on the sermon, you can pause, reverse and jot down items you missed.\u00a0 Our life group meets on Sunday nights and we eat, pray and discuss parts of the sermon that really affected us!<\/p>\nRight now Gary has a series on advent looking at the real songs of Christmas in Luke 1 and 2.\u00a0 Before Thanksgiving Gary was preaching on Philippians, one of the most encouraging books in all the Bible. \u00a0One of the themes of Philippians is having joy despite our circumstances.\u00a0 Now isn\u2019t that relevant to our everyday lives!!<\/p>\n
One of our church couples invites another couple over to watch and listen to the sermon, discuss and have fellowship.\u00a0 I know other couples invite people to their place to have dinner with them.\u00a0 Others in our church are helping others in fixing things, raking leaves and cleaning up yards of the elderly.\u00a0 Many were involved in “Operation Christmas Child,” and currently we have \u201cAngel Tree\u201d where we pick a child who has a parent in prison and buy them a gift.\u00a0 You can go to the church office Monday thru Thursday from 8 to 12 and 1 to 3 and pick out a child.\u00a0 We have more children than last year, and there are still children to be picked. \u00a0Also when it comes time to deliver the gifts we need people to deliver them.\u00a0 Check with Ralph and Barb Collier on volunteering to deliver at 754-2518.<\/p>\n
There are many services available to be part of at GracePoint and encourage and exhort you to be part of GracePoint even though we are not meeting in person yet on Sunday morning for a corporate worship service!!<\/p>\n
