March is a busy month filled with a number of opportunities to support, celebrate, and remember those in our community.<\/p>\n

Daylight Savings Begins:<\/strong> Sunday, March 13
\nMark your calendar to change your clock ahead one hour on Saturday night so you don’t miss church on March 13!<\/p>\n

Good-bye to Dawn:<\/strong> Sunday, March 13
\nCome say good-bye and thank you to Dawn Nock before she moves to Montana to be with her daughters.\u00a0 She, along side Pastor Gary, served and worshipped with us faithfully for over 20 years.<\/p>\n

Coffee Time Returns: <\/strong>Tuesday, March 15 @ 10am
\nJoin us for coffee and fellowship. All are welcome! Invite a friend.<\/p>\n

Pray for the War in Ukraine:<\/strong> Wednesday, March 16 @ 6:45-7:20pm
\nEveryone is invited to a time of prayer Wednesday, March 16th, for those affected by the war in Ukraine. If you are able, please meet us in the sanctuary from 6:45 to approximately 7:20 p.m. Contact June at 398-3425 if you have questions (or aren\u2019t able to attend but would appreciate having ideas on how you can be praying from home).<\/p>\n

Celebrate 35 Years with Macau:<\/strong> Saturday, March 19 @ 7pm
\nLet’s celebrate with Macau- our sister churches there will be celebrating 35 years since the first church plant in Macau through GracePoint’s missionaries, Paul and Diana Mayhugh! We’ll join our brothers and sisters in Macau via the internet to participate in their celebratory worship service. Children are welcome and refreshments will be served.<\/p>\n

If you’re newer to GracePoint, you my not know about the five church partnership between the three churches in Macau, GracePoint, and Pine Baptist in Halfway, OR. This is a celebration of that partnership and mission to serve the people of Macau.<\/p>\n

Funeral for Gordon Smith: <\/strong>Saturday, March 26 @ 1pm<\/p>\n

Commissioning of the Carters: <\/strong>Sunday, March 27 – during worship
\nDan and Tani Carter will be moving to Latah, WA to begin pastoring a church. Join us to say good-bye and commission them to go out in God’s name.<\/p>\n

Pastoral Search Summit: <\/strong>Sunday, March 27- after worship
\nAll are encouraged to stay after the worship service for this informational and feedback event as the Transition Team presents their Community, Church, and Pastoral Profiles that will be used in the search of our next senior pastor.<\/p>\n

We of course also have our weekly meetings of Awana, Stephen Ministers, Worship Team practice and more.\u00a0 Click here<\/a><\/strong> for the full calendar of events.<\/p>\n

Also, mark your calendar for a future event: Go Team Weekend: <\/strong>June 10-12- A\u00a0weekend with some of our GP supported missionaries.<\/p>\n
