2 Samuel: Festering Sin. 2 Samuel 13:1-22

Sin is all-consuming. Left unaddressed and allowed to fester, it will consume us and hurt everything it touches. 2 Samuel 13 lays bare this harrowing truth. It ensnared and scarred the great David. It devoured and perverted his oldest, Amnon. Its effects ravaged the innocent victim, Tamar. And it began to gain foothold in the vengeful Absalom. May God grant us all a better perception and discernment of the danger of sin in our own lives.
