Course Purpose
This course offers a concise survey of the New Testament, providing an outline and summary of each book. Building on the GracePoint Education Committee’s (GPEC) goal to give students a foundational understanding of the entire Bible, this course highlights how the New Testament continues and completes God’s ultimate revelation to humanity.

Philosophy and Objectives
GPEC aims to deepen the biblical knowledge of every member and attendee, equipping them with a strong foundation for personal Bible study and other GracePoint classes. We strive to make this course engaging, informative, and enjoyable.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

1. Memorize key New Testament verses related to salvation and the assurance of salvation.
2. Identify the author, date of composition, and original audience for every New Testament book.
3. Comprehend the primary, original intent of each book’s author.
4. Teach the core concepts and general content of this course to others.

Part 1: The Gospels (The Life & Ministry of Jesus)

• September 6: Foundations of the New Testament (Inspiration, Intertestamental Period, the 4 Gospels’ unique perspectives).
• September 13: Overview of the ministry of John the Baptist
• September 20: Overview of Luke; Jesus’ Transfiguration
• September 27: Overview of John; The Resurrection

Part 2: The Early Church & Paul’s Letters

• October 4: The Birth of the Church
• October 11: The Apostle to the Gentiles
• October 18: The Gospel Applied
• October 25: Christian Living

Part 3: The General Epistles & Prophecy

• November 1: Faith and Works
• November 8: The Supremacy of Christ
• November 15: Christian Leadership & The End Times
• November 22: The Revelation of John & Wrap-Up
