GracePoint Church,

Dave Johnson, a follower of Jesus Christ, and an Elder at GracePoint Church.  “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,” (Phil. 1:2).

Even though we are not meeting on Sunday mornings, we are still GracePoint Church.  I would like to really encourage you to listen to Pastor Gary’s sermons online at our website, GracePointEphrata.org, on YouTube, or on your phone call (509) 394-5589).  It is available each week starting on Friday, and one can go back in archives to listen and watch past sermons!  What is nice, is if you take notes on the sermon, you can pause, reverse and jot down items you missed.  Our life group meets on Sunday nights and we eat, pray and discuss parts of the sermon that really affected us!

Right now Gary has a series on advent looking at the real songs of Christmas in Luke 1 and 2.  Before Thanksgiving Gary was preaching on Philippians, one of the most encouraging books in all the Bible.  One of the themes of Philippians is having joy despite our circumstances.  Now isn’t that relevant to our everyday lives!!

One of our church couples invites another couple over to watch and listen to the sermon, discuss and have fellowship.  I know other couples invite people to their place to have dinner with them.  Others in our church are helping others in fixing things, raking leaves and cleaning up yards of the elderly.  Many were involved in “Operation Christmas Child,” and currently we have “Angel Tree” where we pick a child who has a parent in prison and buy them a gift.  You can go to the church office Monday thru Thursday from 8 to 12 and 1 to 3 and pick out a child.  We have more children than last year, and there are still children to be picked.  Also when it comes time to deliver the gifts we need people to deliver them.  Check with Ralph and Barb Collier on volunteering to deliver at 754-2518.

There are many services available to be part of at GracePoint and encourage and exhort you to be part of GracePoint even though we are not meeting in person yet on Sunday morning for a corporate worship service!!

Keep praying for our church, leaders, and people on our prayer list!!  If there is anything we can do to help you, please be sure to let us know.

Blessings to each and everyone of you!

Dave Johnson
