Mary’s Magnificat
Two women, two pregnancies. One woman old, the other young. Both transformed by the miraculous world changing event of angelic encounters. Both rejoicing over the fulfillment of promise. Both focused on the magnificence of the coming of the pledged Savior, the Messiah.
Mary and Elizabeth’s response to the news of the Savior is one of joyful proclamation. Each individual has the choice of response to the compelling truth of Christ’s invasion of this world to bring salvation.
