Merry Christmas, GracePoint Family and Guests!

We want to invite you to celebrate the arrival of Jesus Christ during our Christmas Eve Virtual Candlelight Service, 6:00pm Thursday, December 24.  You can witness the service with others at the links below on Christmas Eve.

Our Worship Team and Elders have been working to create a service that will be familiar and comforting, a “touchstone” if you will, to remind us of the miracle of God’s great plan.  The focus of the service will be remembering the arrival of the Light of the World.

The service will be available starting at 5:00pm on Christmas Eve, but our Worship Team is asking that everyone wait until 6:00pm, and start it together.  The idea is that all of us can watch it simultaneously and, in some sense, feel a little bit of a “live” experience.  The service will of course be available online thereafter.

We will observe our tradition of ending the service by candlelight.  You are welcome to stop by the office Monday- Thursday from 8am-3pm (closed 12-1pm) to pick up a traditional Christmas Eve Candle for you and your family As the message begins, prepare to dim your lights and join us as we sing Silent Night together.

Additionally, the Elders and Deacons recommend you read the following four passages, with your family, in the time leading up to Christmas Eve.

  • Luke 1:57-80
  • Luke 2:8-20
  • Luke 1:46-56
  • Luke 2:25-35

We pray that during this season of light, you are joyful, at peace, and are focused on the surpassing greatness of our Lord and Savior.

May the word of Christ richly dwell within you!
