The Heart of the Matter: Matthew 22:34-40

Words that are used repeatedly should draw our attention to see their importance. The word love is used over 500 times in the Bible. Meanwhile, there are over 600 laws in the Old Testament. So when Jesus calls us to Love the Lord our God and to Love our Neighbors (Matthew 22:34-40) over all other commandments this should draw us to the importance of it becoming the heartbeat of our relationship and faith in following Christ.
