We live in a world of instant gratification.  From online orders delivered to our doorsteps in the same day, to messages sent to loved ones near and far at the click of a button. We are all in a hurry to get where we are going- hurry to graduate, get married, have kids, pay off student loans or mortgages, to be empty nesters, to enjoy retirement.  And our spiritual lives aren’t immune to this hurry and desire for end results instantly.  But one of the most prevalent themes in the Bible is the call to trust in the LORD.  Pages full of lessons about trusting in Him for salvation, deliverance, wisdom, and direction.  But the tragic tale of human history is our inward bent to constantly doubt and do things our way and in our own timing.  Join Pastor Tony as he shows us in 1 Samuel 8 how God keeps His promises, in His own perfect timing.
